INSTRUCTIONS

fig 1.0 Design Research Dissertation's Assignment Brief (26/09/2025)

Timeframe: Week 11 - Week 14
Description: Writing remains one of the most significant modes of scholarly communication. Publishing in academic journals enables researchers to contribute meaningfully to the collective body of knowledge within their fields. Each publication, be it a novel theory, methodological advertisement, or empirical discovery, adds scholarly value and fosters academic dialogue. Furthermore, publication in peer-reviewed journals enhances the visibility and reputation of the individual researcher, their department, and their institution on both national and international platforms (American Journal Experts, 2022).

Here is my final Journal Article.

REFLECTION

Overall, I found this subject to be particularly challenging. One of the main difficulties I experienced was the limited opportunity to receive feedback outside of class time, as the lecturer often had a busy schedule. As a result, it was sometimes difficult for me to confirm whether I was progressing in the right direction or whether my writing and research approach were appropriate. This uncertainty caused me to feel stressed, as I lacked consistent guidance throughout certain stages of the learning process.

Consultation sessions with Dr. Hayati were also limited, which meant that I had to be more selective with the questions I asked during class time. While this encouraged me to become more independent in my learning, it also made the process more demanding, as I was not always able to seek clarification when needed. At times, I felt unsure about what I was gaining from the subject due to the lack of continuous feedback. Nevertheless, this experience pushed me to rely more on self-reflection, critical reading, and independent problem-solving, which ultimately contributed to my personal growth as a student.
